Jesus & masturbation.

My true spiritual practice is action!

Natty all the way:

The sweat of my hands covered the hot metal of the dumbbells, while I finished my last set my mind wandered aimlessly. In the distance I heard Buddha’s mantras getting stronger as he finished his bench press.

On the other hand, Muhammad was doing some mobility exercises to kneel better during prayer. Of course I can’t forget the holy header of this message, Jesus of Nazareth was right there at the corner of the gym.

Unlike the other spiritual guides, he was totally immobile. As If he lived perpetually nailed to that cross of yesteryear, however with the passage of time his gaze transformed…

He exhales slowly and with the titanic force of God, the almighty son raises his bar to perform one of the biggest dead lifts I’ve ever seen.

You may wonder how much they charge in that gym?

Why I’m surrounded by enlightened masters?

Is it true that Jesus is super swoll?

Honestly all these questions can only be answered, to all those who are tired of masturbating.

Street fighter:

The sea breeze sneaks through one of the gym’s windows, a discreet signal that indicates the end of a day well made. Having finished my work, I take the opportunity next to take a seat in one of the sofas. Suddenly my friend Jesus decides to accompany me on my break.

With the divine grace of the holy spirit, he begins to answer the questions of our beloved readers. “First of all my son, this gym has a reasonable price of 20 dollars a month. You can find us in Florida.”

“In regards to my illustrious companions, let’s say that each spiritual master reaches a crucial point in his or her path for inner peace. Aka: going to the gym.”

“And before I share my secrets let me tell you, I AM.. super natty.”

“The answers you seek can only be obtained when you stop masturbating, we are not talking about sexual pleasure. Rather letting go of the constant mental chatter to finally dominate this reality through your actions.”

Chadistan:

Suddenly one of the trainers from the gym arrives with us, turns out it’s Mary Magdalene with some cold oatmeal protein shake in her hand. She sits calmly, looking steadily at us before sharing her vision.

“There are some that remain forever in prayer, not realizing it’s a state with infinite possibilities. People get lost in the flaccid world of meditation and a few can only observe the chaos within.”

“The things I mentioned are great starters, but to be honest with you the only way to live is to act.”

“We came to discover ourselves through experience, understand the quality of our own personal reality.”

The afternoon light illuminates her hair, May Magdalene prostrated before us. She seemed more like an ancient monolith that pushed us to offer a sacrifice. Let go of our spiritual passivity, abandoning the notion that I came here to transcend reality.

Master of my domain:

“99.999% of you are not here to transcend reality, you’re here to dominate it. Your spiritual practice is learning to act without thinking, living in a zen state of creation manifesting a new world. Not to sit and lick your ass in the sun.” — Pat Stedman.

Leaving aside the aerobic fantasy of the gym, or the fun that comes from seeing a muscled up Jesus, this quote form Pat is the corner stone that drives my message. Just this particular focus contains the essence of the second part of my spiritual journey.

After two intense years of inner work, and applying the tools that my mentor Hector Martinez shared with me in conjunction with my professional growth, I reached a depression that perhaps few can visualize.

Turns out that at the end of knowledge, having explored my shadow alongside everything that makes me a fearful human. I became saturated, broken by the weight of my own madness…

Nothing will happen if I don’t move my hands.

Perhaps I’m the stupidest student, or maybe I’m a genius.

Anyways… After a rigorous training, observing my particular fears I confirmed that action must be taken. The difference is that now my actions come from a different platform, I no longer create my reality from fear. Instead my observation causes inner change, informing with love all the actions that I take.

This is not achieved through rationalization, hidden retreats in Tulum, or affirmations in tittle letters. To be clear, let me give an example…

I am afraid of being perceived as an asshole, so when my boss criticizes or argues with my work, I defend myself. Creating chaos that corroborates my fear, the key behind my spiritual practice is:

  • Know very well what my fear is, observe it from an objective perspective, laugh about it, and then acto to change the outcome of that moment.

I no longer react, I receive the comment and instead of expressing distaste or reprimands form my boss, he continues to review my work in a complete neutral way. No fear, no offensive comment.

Jesus & Arnold:

The years necessary to know my dark side have passed, at least for now. The time for passive prayers or exercises to maintain my center are gone… Now is the time to take charge of my life, observing my doubts catapulting myself through action.

No matter how much I do Ayahuasca, mushrooms or retreats. My business will not materialize unless I pray while my hands work, my life will not improve unless I decide to do something.

I once heard that 50 Cent manifest through rapping, his spiritual path happens here, now, without thinking!

It’s curious to imagine all our spiritual idols in a gym, even more so to know that everything they prayed for was transmuted in everyday stuff. Manifesting a beautiful world with clear intentions, and hands ready to mold the earth.

There is a possibility that I will fall again, not sure if I can contain my mind, but at least today I am clear. No longer shall I waste my time thinking, my truth is here, I know the way.

I AM.. — TAKING ACTION
